Fannie Mae just revised its expectations for mortgage rates and home sales this year, offering a brighter outlook for the U.S. housing market. In reports earlier this year, the team forecast that the 30-year, fixed rate mortgage average could end 2025 as high as 6.8%. Del Webb is moving its inventory (spec) homes at Sun City Festival with some very agressive pricing. On May 1 they had 56 specs available and since that date they have sold 24 specs compared to 18 resale homes. It's pretty obvious they are offering some outstanding deal to capture buyers.
